Dr. Jannatul Ferdous, born in Rajbari, Bangladesh, earned Bachelor’s (Honours) and Master’s degrees in Bengali Literature from Eden College, along with B.Ed. from Dhaka Teachers’ Training College and M.Ed. from the University of Dhaka from where she later completed MPhil and PhD degrees in Bengali and studied Approach to Literature and Poetry Reading and Analysis at the University of Calgary, Canada. Her PhD thesis was published by Bangla Academy, Dhaka and her MPhil thesis by Noborag Prokashoni, Dhaka. Now living in Canada, Jannatul writes columns, stories, poetry, and rhymes.
