CLIFF Preview

As a special preview to CLIFF 2026, two landmark films of Indian cinema – Umrao Jaan and Lagaan are screened at the Aga Khan Museum, Toronto, offering audiences an early glimpse into the spirit of the festival.

Presented under the banner of CLIFF PREVIEW (Classic Legends International Film Festival), the screenings celebrate cinema as a powerful extension of literary and cultural storytelling. Umrao Jaan, marking 45 years since its release, and Lagaan, commemorating its 25th anniversary, bring together film enthusiasts, literary audiences, and cultural communities to revisit narratives that have transcended generations.
