Alene Sen is an artist, poet, and entrepreneur. She is the creator at WordMuse, a company that creates pocket-sized poetry products. Alene is also the author and photographer behind Rainbows in the Night: poems (Friesen Press, 2024) and Programs Without Walls: Stories from Toronto Parents (Macaulay Child Development Centre, 2001). She is an advocate for literacy and community involvement. Her work explores self-discovery, transformation, and resilience. Her writings and photography have appeared internationally in print, e-books, and online, appearing in Toronto Star, Today’s Parent, City Parent, anthologies, and literary journals. Her poetry has won awards locally and internationally. When Alene is not writing, she travels the world taking photos of random things, which become inspiration for her Photopoetry.
