Pratap Reddy is a poet, and a writer of both short and long fiction. He is the author of 4 books. His latest “Remaindered People & Other Stories” (2025) was selected by CBC as one of the great Canadian collections of 2025.

He is an alumnus of the Humber School for Writers and has completed courses in Poetry as part of the Creative Writing Program of the University of Toronto. He has received awards and grants from the Mississauga Arts Council and the Ontario Arts Council.

He serves on the board of Boot Makers, the Sherlock Holmes Society of Canada and Diaspora Dialogues.

He lives in Mississauga with his wife and son. He is currently writing a novel and putting together his second volume of verse.
