Tehzina Emdad, born in Bangladesh, is an author, illustrator and teacher. She earned her Master’s degree in General History, University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. Later she did a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, and Children’s Illustration Course from George Brown College, Toronto. Her five bilingual books include Kennedy to Kipling (2020), Some little Feelings (2022), My Purple Dolphin (2023), Taira’s sweet dreams of Jasper (2025) and Tickli’s Mystery (2026). Tehzina writes both fiction and non-fiction. Her books contribute to inclusive literacy, cultural awareness, and early childhood development, and aligning with library’s commitment to serving a diverse and growing community.
