Dr. Anubha Mehta

Dr. Anubha Mehta is an award-winning Canadian author, artist and educator, known for her evocative storytelling. Her debut novel, Peacock in the Snow, a bestseller, has been published in both Canada and India. From 2023 to 2025, Anubha has received multiple Literature awards including ‘The Best Novelist in Indo-Canadian Literature’.  Anubha was spotlighted by Toronto International Festival of Authors, as ‘The Author for the Year’ by the Brampton Public Library, and globally recognized as an Indo-Canadian author of repute at the Jaipur Literature Festival in 2019 and again in 2020. The Ontario Arts Council, the Canada Council for the Arts, The Writers’ Union of Canada, and the Canadian Artists Network are supporting Anubha for her upcoming novel through mentorships and grants.
