Playwright, Poet , Dastango ( storyteller), and Theatre Activist.I am author of 20 Books in Urdu, mostly translated in Hindi, Bengali and English. Recently my Solo play “YES MY SON RAZI IS AUTISTIC “, for the awareness of Autism in our community, has been translated in 19 International Languages namely English,French,Russian,German, Greek, Japanese Danish, Filipino, Indonesian Bhasa, Albanian, Uzbek, Azerbaijani, Arabic,Persian, Pashto, Sindhi, Bengali and Hindi, achieving a Record in the India Book of Records.The book was published by Naamak Publications Delhi. I am Recipient of The Civic Arts Award- Pickering, Canada and Ghalib Award – Delhi to name a few. One MPhil. has been conducted in Delhi University 2012 on my Diasporic play and two researches are going on in various universities of India.
Artistic Director RangManch Canada, a not for profit theatre group in Oshawa, I am also a Former Director of Panorama India.
