Mary Ellen Koroscil is recognized with the Hazel McCallion Volunteer of the Year Award for her exceptional leadership of the Courtney Park Writers Group, where she has been providing inspiration and mutual support to its 30 members consisting of fellow authors and poets for 14 years. In addition to her volunteer work, Mary Ellen operates a public-relations business, working with authors, editing manuscripts and assisting in book promotion.
